Thai advertising in the snuff is quite shocking as they put pictures of black lungs, children drowning in smoke, etc.
Shortly it will come to Spain, and the truth is that hits!

Best way to get to Thailand

Most economic airline from Spain are Thai Airways and Qatar Airways, but you can take a flight from London with Air Asia, wich is the bigges lowcost company in Aisa. You have a direct flight from London to Krabi for around 500€!
Looking for some huts in Ton Say

If you are looking for lodging, you better take a look inside the room, before book it. It is better those that are really isolated because otherwise you can have some visits at night... the insects!. If you hear some noises in the mornign... don´t worry, probably they are the monkeys!
Material and climbing guides in Thailand

There is a complete climbing guide that you can buy in Ton Say cheaper than in Spain. It is very detailed but don´t forget to bring with you some material just in case you need it to replace the old one.
Hay una guía de escalada muy completa de la zona que se puede encontrar en las tiendas de Ton Say más barata que en España, y aunque está muy detallada, no te olvides de llevar siempre cordinos y material por si tienes que sustituir algún puente de roca o reuniones en estado precario, ya que al estar al lado del mar y con la salitre a veces te encuentras en la pared material corroído.
The Tsunami in Thailand

Ko Phi Phi island is property of 4 people, and when the help from other countries got to Thailand, the goverment didn´t give money to these islands trying to throw the owners away to get the chance to buy the island, but all the voluntary people work hard and today everything is working fine.

Thailand is one of the most cheapest places for diving, but it is better to get your diving licence in Spain (for example) because it is more complete and you will enjoy better in thailand, but if you are snorkeling, becarful and don´t do it with 50 people around like in the picture.
Pranang Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in Krabi is Pranang, with a big 200 high rock full of stalactites falling over the ocean, and if you bring a torch with you, go to the other side of the beach and get in to one big cave, you can go to Ray lei rappeling about 25m.
When to go to Thailand

High season in Thailand goes from the end of october until april, which are the dry months, but if you go on june or july, rain it is not anoying and you can enjoy with no people around and cheaper prices... it is worth it!
Thailand´s food

Thailand food is one of the best in the world, it has plenty of different fishes, vegetables, fruits,... and it is very cheap, you can have lunch for 2€; and if you are in Prangan beach you must have a Padthai cooked by the women right on the beach... delicious!
Thailand´s lodgin

If you are planning to go to Krabi in high season, it is better to book before, but if you go in low season, you will be able to choose between some huts right on the beach for 3€/day, huts in the forest for 2€/day and big luxurious hotel for around 200€/day!
From island to island in Thailand

If you want to travel to Ko Thao you can take a night boat with "bed"... that´s what they tell you... but you can´t imagine that the boat is full of small mattress, so you won´t fit in them, half of your body will be on your neighbour´s mattress and sleeping will be hard with the engine noise and the "good smell". I woked up with my neighbour´s face right in front of me!!
Ton Say´s Beach

Ton Say beach is the place where you can find lodgin and restaurants with the lowest prices and you can reach this place renting a boat from Hao Nang or Krabi depending on the season; if you want to go the the Ray Lei beach you can walk throught the jungle for ten minutes or so, if you are lucky you would see the King Cobra!!. There is a big Resort project for 2010 so go before everything is built up!!

You can ask local people for renting a boat and they will bring you to the "non rope climbing" places in the ocean. There is many places around pretty close to Tom Say, after going up some meters you can just let you fall into the ocean; after finishing you can rest in the hundreds of islands around and enjoy some scuba diving and yellow sand beaches.
Humanality - Ton Say

Climbing is the main attractiveness in Krabi, where more than 300 routes are right on the beach, having different levels of difficulty. It is better to bring your own equipment but you can find some climbing stores around. If you like long routes you can´t miss the "Humanality" or kayaking to the "Hao Nang Tower" in the middle of the ocean.
Diving in Thailand

Thailand is one of the diving´s paradise. In the Phi-Phi islands you can have current diving around impresive coral walls, enjoy with the Leophard Shark (Triakis semifasciata). Ko Thao island offers many dives like the "shark point" where you will be surrounded by many sharks, this island is a little bit crowded by diving centers (around 93) but it is worth to get there and have some fun. If you are not to tired after diving, you can try some block climbing close to the beach.

For those who don´t like climbing, this is the perfect place to try out for the first time, if you really don´t like it, don´t worry about it, there is plenty of activities you can do in Ton Say, like take a walk throught the jungle, kayaking around the islands, resting on the beach having baths in crystal clear waters, have a good massage or just drink tons of fruitshakes!!!
